i would def look at trad pub first! search online and see if there’s any local publishers you vibe with and whether/when they’re taking submissions

i’ve self-published two books through kindle direct publishing (kdp)! it’s super easy and free but amazon does keep a percentage of the income. you can look it up and log in using your amazon account to get started

and idk what school you go to, but if your college has a writing program see if you can talk w/ the professors about their advice/experience publishing
