That’s not to say that stories can’t be critiqued, but if the idea or the feeling that the author wants to impart onto their audience is received by even just one person, I believe that alone is justification for that story’s existence. We can’t all fully immerse ourselves in every story ever, as some people just aren’t compatible with certain stories, but when you find a story you are truly compatible with, it’s a feeling like no other.
