if this Isn’t a bit my genuine answer would be no i think writing prose/poetry is a different writing than writing music, or music composition LMFAOOO since one deals in words and the other in musical notes. that said writing musical lyrics would fit under writing prose/poetry so

music definitely tells a story but again it does so almost purely through sound and sound alone, rather than through words. you can then say well audiobooks are also just the transmission of stories through sound but again it’s through particular sounds (words) through which we’ve developed more concrete meaning to/which signify particular things, whereas music is more i guess. for lack of a better word, “meaningless” sound? i guess it’s a blurry line if you start looking at it too long though
