My professor used to use the book Shitty First Drafts, but parents complained. The state board of education forced them to change books. Then they chose Murder Your Darlings. Same thing happened. Now they’re using They Say / I Say, and another parent is challenging that because of the included readings mentions the BlackLivesMatter movement.
