The elements all sound like they could add up to something awesome, I’d just recommend rewriting the blurb here specifically if you’re going to use it for promotion in any way. Like I said it sounds like a potentially very interesting story, specifically with the extra info you put in the comment here, but the description blurb does make it seem a little, maybe not generic, but “safe” if you get what I mean. I feel like your actual story is miles better than what the blurb suggests.
