It’s a free write I don’t even have posted on my blog, yk not all writing has to be good right? I’m not a poet, I’m not selling books, I do this for fun. I was shit replying earlier but seriously I hope you learn to let people enjoy things whether their work is great, bad or anything in between. Artists don’t owe you exceptional work. Not all work should be shared. Either way, if it is, you open yourself up to criticism. I hope you learn to not take it so personally and handle it better.

“Snooze” isn’t criticism. You could say that you think I should add better detail that arouses more curiosity or something but snooze is not criticism and I’m tired of people claiming that them being mean is criticism. Look at my other works where people have criticized me, I’ve thanked them, I will always take critic seriously cause I love writing but again, you are just being cruel and trying to pass it off as being helpful

Oh I definitely wasn’t trying to be helpful and never claimed to be, but I encourage you to look up the definition of criticism to understand that my comment was, indeed, under the umbrella of criticism. Cruel is your opinion, but I’m expressing my thought of the work (it’s bad).

Ok so we’re both wrong cause criticism has 2 definitions, I was perceiving your comment with the 2nd “the analysis and judgment of the merits and faults of a literary or artistic work” you were commenting using the first “the expression of disapproval of someone or something based on perceived faults or mistakes” But regardless I still think what you said was unnecessary I’ll mean. If you think my work is bad just say that, it’s not hard to be decent.

You’re not right, cause “snooze” is not an analysis of my work, it just sounds condescending but it’s not providing anything that could help better my writing, which is the 2nd definition of criticism.
