You should do little writing prompts! Or do online literate rp! :) Practice makes you better! Don’t force it or put yourself down! It happens to everyone with disuse!

If you force yourself to be perfect, you’ll realize how imperfect it is. You’ll get frustrated and lose enjoyment for writing. You gotta let it be fun. You can’t edit what doesnt exist. Let yourself fuck around and try new things. When I write, every sentence has a little red squiggle- I just keep going and edit that shit later. It’s future yous problem. For now, have fun

The answer I’ve always heard from published writers is to read. Not just anything — great novels, classic novels, prize-winning, etc.
