i have no idea what tf he means. like. cis men die all the fucking time from VERY preventable deaths out of sheer stupidity and ego (ie the belief most have that theyre main characters whom nothing seriously bad/disabling/life-ending happens to) imagine if they actually had to worry about watching their drinks at the club or couldnt go walking alone at night. god forbid they get seriously sick and are just told by docs to lose weight or take anxiety meds

if he means taking on harder "mens" jobs like construction or being a soldier, weve already done and continue to do both. A) women HAD to take mens jobs during ww1 and 2 and actually protested our jobs being given back to the returning men because we'd finally got some decent pay for once and B) women have been crossdressing and forging identities JUST to fight in wars we were banned in for hundreds of years, a lot of the time just because we couldnt stand being stuck at home

Just to add on. They just released a study saying women actually do better in the military (soldiers) than men. So we’re better at them at pretty much everything. WHILE BLEEDING.

Im just saying a fact? I couldn’t think of her name at the time, but Norah Vincent was doing a study on the life of men. She made note of heavy emotional burden, isolation and strict pressures society placed on men. I responded to people saying “No, it’s this or that”. Didn’t realize that meant I lacked critical thinking.
