Exactly 💀 that’s the equivalent of accusing an erotic anime (or a romance that intentionally toes the line) of having too much fan service, as if that weren’t the entire point. When people complain about fan service (in anime and western TV) they’re more likely referring to the moments that feel out of place. Scenes or shots that cause an, often uncomfortable, disconnect from the current action or plot.
I don’t care at all about fan service but the people who do and make it only seem like it’s in Anime when it’s all over regular TV shows as well. The same running and tripping and falling on a girl shit they do in anime I’ve seen in regular tv shows as well. Especially crimes shows
