Why do guys complain about being single/ undesirable when you can’t even say you’re a feminist? why should a woman be with a man who can’t even say he’s a supporter of her rights, autonomy and overall equal respect to women ?
As a man do you consider yourself a feminist?

I think a lot of men have this false perception that feminism is all just “I hate men” when that’s not the reality of it. I know there are some people who can make it seem like that, but idk why they base their opinion off their interactions with a few people instead of looking at actual policies, statistics, and listening to the voices of women.

I wrote this on a similar post, here’s a re-write : I’m 100% for equal rights, and everything like that, but recently there has been a negative trend, saying that to be a feminist you have to “hate all men.” So no, I don’t consider myself as a feminist, but I do support women’s rights and equality. Just, nowadays, the word “feminist” has a negative connotation which I just wouldn’t want to associate myself with. Feel free to question me more, I am up for it, just have an open mind fr.

I would just consider myself an equal rights advocate for all groups, I feel like feminism stopped being about equal rights, name, a single right women don’t have that men do. I guess abortion but men can’t have those. reproductive and sexual autonomy are important but somewhere along the line it just got misguided.

It's not just fighting for reproductive rights. It's also about fighting against to societal social norms, domestic/sexual violence, inadequate healthcare, and workplace discrimination. All of which affect men too.

Then I don’t know anybody who isn’t a feminist, I don’t know anybody who is OK with sexual or domestic abuse, anyone who is against women having equal opportunities and rights that men do, I think it’s just public image of the movement has turned a lot of people off because it is so accusatory, idk thats the best word I can think of

Can you talk about your experiences with either specific woman or notable figures in media/online that gave you the impression that the feminist movement is about hating men?

Solid, so I have sisters yeah? So I have always been around women, and like, I have dated a few as well. They would literally tell me they hated me, and didn’t need men. Like bro I’m just trynna get pop tarts from my own damn house. As well as they went to this like, parade thing? No clue, I gave my sister a Airtag tho bc like, safety. They said I was toxic 💀✋ The parade they went to? Why were the signs like, hating men and shit? Like yall are straight but want us to die.. Pick a side.
