hey so… this was a question about like clothes & personal style. i wasn’t quite prepared to be called dull & vain & superficial for asking a question about what clothes guys thinks are cute 😳
do men have an understanding of like “aesthetics” (clean girl, granola girl, etc. for example)? and if you do, do y’all feel like your type aligns with one of those archetypes?

Don’t take it personally, they may have been too harsh but most of us guys don’t really care about allat

It doesn’t really matter, as long as it makes you feel confident. Guys don’t pay as much attention to personal style

Most men don’t pay close attention to fashion trends or “styles”. If a girl is pretty, she can wear just about anything and she’ll look great.

nobody called you dull or vain just that guys don’t prioritize aesthetics. If the shoe fits though 🤷‍♂️

Our opinion is that you’re focusing on the nitty gritty shit that we don’t care about

I just don’t think having a certain kind of personal style means you have a dull personality or nothing going on. How people choose to dress is not that serious to me! If someone is “obsessed” with an aesthetic I don’t see it as superficial! Especially when there are plenty of people who don’t put any thought into their style try to judge those people it bothers me. It’s mean.

Didn’t ask but thanks for sharing anyways What someone wears is objectively the most superficial part of them, that’s not really something you can debate. Plenty of people have great style but it’s not a part of their personality they just happen to have good taste.

I think liking clothes doesn’t have to be superficial! I think personal expression is fun & fun to talk about! But I respect your opinion.
