what do yall think? men overall tend to agree more with conventional beauty standards than women do?
do yall think men tend to have overall similar-ish perceptions of a woman’s attractiveness? i was thinking about like pete davidson, who half women find really hot and half find unattractive. i couldn’t think of any female celebs as polarizing. thoughts?

Yeah I definitely think women are more likely to have a diversified preference in men than the other way around

I don’t believe in beauty standards. I believe everyone has different opinions on what’s hot.

def. Women are more likely to lean into finding personalities attractive and have that supersede looks if they really like a guys personality and actions. Men don’t do that as much. They are more likely to friend zone or little sibling zone you.

I think it comes from gender roles traditionally. Men are meant to be generous providers so actions speak higher whereas the women are meant to be beautiful and offer support in other ways.

yeah i know that. my point was men are more likely as a collective to agree on who’s hot and who’s not. even if as an individual they may sometimes disagree with the majority opinion, it seems like there always is a majority opinion.
