Hi everyone! I figured it’d be best to ask the whole community about this stuff instead of just leaving it in replies, so which products do y’all recommend? I’ll put specifics about what I’m looking for in comments (character limit)

First off, I highly recommend using apps to make sure what you use has clean ingredients! The more natural, the better it’ll be!

For me personally, I don’t really have much acne so I’m mostly looking for products that can target one spot when anything pops up. I’m more of a victim to dry skin, so I’m also trying to find an exfoliating body wash that also moisturizes well. Looking for good sunscreen recommendations too. I’m pale as a ghost so it’s important for me to wear it, but I hate how thick some feel and how a lot of them have that chemical smell to them

There’s two different types of sunscreen. One is a mineral and one is chemical. You’ll probably do better with mineral. It does leave a white cast if you are dark enough, but that may not be a concern.

I’m an Elemis girly personally. They’ve never failed me on ANYTHING (costly but effective as fuck)

Exfoliate body wash: I like the ones from bath and body works, they exfoliate and leave my skin super hydrated after shaving! It won’t be good on face, but I do love it. However, you can make them at home with sugar and coconut oil (once again, not safe for face, just body due to the high amount of oil. You can find recipes online).

i use the clinique moisture surge moisturizer (face) that has SPF 28 in it in the mornings! im also going to say that while “clean beauty” does work for some ppl, it isn’t universally better for everyone so don’t feel like u HAVE to use those products if u don’t super care or they’re costly for ur budget.

My dermatologist recommends Aveeno products above all else, they have body wash for dry skin as well as dedicated sunscreen or you can do moisturizer/lotion with SPF protection
