Which god, though? Many religions explicitly reject modern science (young earth creationism, Christian Science the movement rejects mainstream medicine, Islamic creationists reject evolution theories, Orthodox Jews reject modern genetics or archeology or astronomy, fundamentalist Hindus reject even history, Jehovahs witnesses don’t believe in blood transfusions and even discourages higher education).
I believe in results and sustainability ethos. Non toxic, anti drugs, renewable energy, naturalism in terms of foods and earth connection. I believe in space flight, commercial enterprise, profits, building an equitable future, giving back to society, fostering a healthy community, I believe nobody should have to work full time unless they want to, but I also believe that hedonism and indulgence is bad for humanity. I believe in decentralization, anti authoritarian control, bodily autonomy…
and voluntary systems that respect individual choice and personal responsibility. I support civil liberties, freedom of speech, encryption, and ethical innovation, but I’m deeply cautious of overreach, whether it's by corporations, governments, or cultural trends. I value meaningful human connection over consumption, and I resist systems that profit from addiction, exploitation, or passivity. I care about sustainability, self-reliance, and long-term thinking
Also financial independence, modular systems, and decentralized agriculture and industry, cryptocurrency, structures that empower individuals and communities instead of trapping them in cycles of dependence. I’m fascinated by biotech, space, computers, and I believe that integrity, resilience, and building something meaningful matter more than chasing comfort or conformity.
Having worked in a laboratory I know how easy and how incentivized it is to falsify data and come to incorrect conclusions based on flawed study design, personal ego, inaccurate metrics, poor measurements, and even corruption. I reject scientific dogma. I believe in the practical results of the scientific method but I also recognize that science is a human process, subject to bias, manipulation, and systemic failure
Christianity and modern science has always interacted historically- many enlightened scientists were also Christian. But this was mostly due to Christianity being a dominant force (they had most political and institutional power). Many discoveries directly challenged religious beliefs at the time (Galileo was arrested for his heliocentric model). Science has largely demystified phenomena historically attributed to religious beliefs or divine forces- look at things like disease and germ theory.
