I can say as a victim myself I’ve had too many women try to discredit or attack my experience as a man, like even if it’s mostly done by men that doesn’t invalidate my experience. Or like just because I didn’t feel the need to expressly say I’m the victim
Do women actually have equal empathy/sympathy for male victims of SA by female perpetrators or deep down do yall secretly feel less bad for male victims but you don’t want to say it out loud because you don’t want to seem like an a-hole?

It’s crazy how many fake “SA survivor advocates” there are who seemingly only support survivors if it meets their narrow definition of a “perfect victim” it’s soo disgusting and toxic And it’s even worse when girls make up shit just because they know they can get away with it. Either for attention or to cover up their own abusive behavior…

In the discussion about it and say I’m a man, doesn’t mean I’m a perp.

Discredit it, or entirely ignore it. Even make jokes.

I’m sorry you met shitty people. It doesn’t invalidate what you went through. I’m sorry someone else hurt you I hope you find closure, even if that closure is just that you made it through. I’m proud of you.

I advocate for and support real survivors. This includes ANYONE who has had things done to them without consent that made them hella uncomfortable. Idc if your a man, woman, lgbtq, have a disability or whatever. This shit is horrific and wrong. Anyone who believes that discrediting survivors due to any of the above factors is justifiable, you might as well just tell me straight you don’t give a shit about survivors. Only yourself.

As someone who’s been raped multiple times it’s really hard to come forward out of fear of social status that abusers usually have and the knowledge that nothing will happen to the perpetrator. I don’t think there are many cases of people making things up for attention, rape victim is not glamorous attention it’s humiliation. Regardless of gender, being taken advantage of in that way does irreversible damage to your soul and I wish healing to anyone who’s gone through it.

Sadly as a victim myself, I’ve seen people make shit up multiple times. It’s soo ass backwards and disgusting. If you’ve been abused, you know how damaging it is and the amount of therapy and time you need to even live. If you don’t know what you’re talking about, you think that abuse is a minor thing… Yes I was abused and the person who did it fabricated a story to cover their ass. No I’m not the only instance I’ve heard of this story. This is real and it does happen.

Perps and their supporters need to be locked up for life. Not encouraged by the fucking idiots in power. I’m drained, tired and still hurting.
