Why is it that the uk gets the cool covers but their books are stiff as logs. The complete opposite here. Is it too much to ask for floppy books with neat covers?? 😭

I forgot ebooks and audiobooks so this is just about physical reads

ok I have a preference for hardcover but i’ve never really noticed a difference in paperbacks, like they’re all the same to me tbh

I do like a good hardback, though I can attest they do in fact hurt more when they fall on your face while reading in bed 😅

real, some can also be awkward to hold and the dust jackets love to slide around for no reason sometimes
