I’m saying this as someone who has read many books and authors in the genre coho resides in. She is not a critical writer, she writes sexually explicit renditions of abuse cases. It’s vile. Read Ellen Hopkins if you want a critical point of view and not some sick abuse fantasy.

This writing is so choppy. It only uses basic simple sentences with no depth or complexity, nothing to read between the lines. She’s only doing tell, no show. She needs longer sentences that need commas, more depth, and someone to tell her “no” when she tries making scenes about laughing at baby genitals
