My classes give us two “free” absences and anything after is a 10% grade decrease until 5 which is a Fail!! (5 including the two “free” days ) 😍😍

this being my syllabus when i’m chronically ill??? thank god i have a 504 plan or id be screwed… so weird attendance is still counted against people

I don’t have a 504 plan bc apparently having lupus isn’t enough of a disability :)

Uhh you should be able to get one, I’d be constantly emailing them asking specifically why they believe lupus doesnt qualify and giving examples about how it harms your day to day life

This shit right here is exactly why I got accommodations even though my condition was well managed and in ‘remission’. I was terrified I’d be penalized for missing class if I did relapse/flare up and then not be able to do anything about it bc I hadn’t said anything before
