something being implied means it’s not actually there, but it’s understood to be there. I’m sure the people that wrote that aren’t trying to say fuck the guy that died. It’s two separate things. So yes, rip to the unfortunate person that passed away, but men’s mental health is so big yet goes unnoticed.

this is the same blatant excuse culture that leads to this shit. so many athletes grow up as golden children who can do no wrong because of their skills at a sport, on top of the world and never taught accountability. and instead of seeing this and realizing how bad that problem is people are feeding into it, fabricating mental health narratives instead of accepting that this dude took a man's life, ran away, and decided he'd rather end it than risk consequences

this is not a mental health issue, this is an issue of a culture that allows young men to never fully grow up, continue thinking they're above the world, and throw their lives away because of it

not a lot of people, let alone athletes, kill themselves after getting in criminal trouble. so being that it’s rare, it’s very possible to be mental health issues.
