As an unbiased fan i can understand why teams wouldnt schedule hard OOC games. Why even risk possibly losing “harder games” when you can schedule an fcs game, get a free win and hope you win the ones you have to play. But you also HAVE to win the non OOC

A few P5 teams backed out from MAC games last year, I believe Maryland pulled out of 2? games vs MACTION

Nebraska backing out of their home & home with Tennessee is a great example of this. They’re uber obsessed with CFP appearances and know that pay game wins are more valuable than a potential non con quality loss
