imo i genuinely dont believe most men are good people. no, the average man isnt actively raping & killing. but he WILL turn a blind eye. laugh at the jokes. defend his weird homeboys. support known rapists. the avg guy isnt evil. he's indifferent.

There’s a difference between pointing out problems and labeling and generalizing an entire gender with a forgone conclusion Saying that the average man *WILL* do those horrible things she saying isn’t empowering or productive or inspire any change It enables the people that already partake in this behavior, pushes a mentality that we have no power to change this and vindicates and breeds resentment in men who are trying to be good men in society

The average man does do those things tho. By stating it we have a chance to change it rather than simply ignoring it. She was not demonizing a gender.

Saying that the average man does that doesn't prove your point If you're saying ANY claim about generalizing a group, then you atleast gotta have the studies to back it up Where's the evidence you have to back up that point? If its just anecdotal than I can just the average man doesn't do that too
