pro tip: use jarlic, tubed garlic, and/or frozen fresh garlic to help avoid the stinky, sticky hands. (I know it’s sometimes unavoidable, though)

my mom's been a chef for decades and she taught me in a pinch, you can use lemon juice on your fingers to get rid of the smell. or, you can rub your fingers on your stainless steel sink tap (and then clean it with a paper towel) if you don't have stainless steel soap
