And I understand ppl get shamed for having sex (not arguing they don’t) but anytime I see posts like this it’s always ppl in the comment section saying it’s okay to not be a virgin but I’m like having sex is already normalized. If it wasn’t ppl wouldn’t think being like a virgin in your 20s or 30s was weird

Virginity as a construct tends to hurt ppl who haven’t had it and ppl that have- there’s a ton of ppl that haven’t had sex or a bf well into their 30s! Like there’s a big part of the population that thinks u should be a virgin until ur married so 😭

Damned if you do it don’t but it’s def hard not to internalize something being wrong with you when everyone you know is having sex. But I also don’t want to force myself to get it over with and be upset about the experience so I’m just on an island here I suppose
