Nah because there is no good reason for the whole “outside clothing” superstition and no one can prove me wrong. You just want power/control
i can’t be friends with people who won’t let me sit on their bed or furniture with my “outside clothes” ur a damn freak get a grip on reality pls

Unless you show up looking like you rolled in mud there’s no good reason to use that excuse. If you’re really that concerned about the wellbeing of your furniture get those plastic slipcovers, otherwise suck it up and clean your furniture regularly

okay i feel like we’re taking this a little too far bc it really depends. if you just came from the gym, no you cannot sit on my bed in your sweaty ass gym clothes. or if it’s summer and i don’t have a comforter on so your jeans that you wore all day would be directly touching the sheet i sleep under. i think thats reasonable. but couch/furniture is totallly different and i agree with you there

then again im traumatized by my roommate from hell who would literally sleep in the clothes she wore all day, to class or the gym or wherever else. when i tell you her side of the room STANK omfg

I think bed is brought in because in smaller dorms beds are often the only place to sit most of the time but yeah there’s definitely more factors to consider with that over other furniture
