Now I’m not saying any girl wearing light makeup is bad or that they are harming people, it’s obvious a deeply rooted social practice that is expected of women in professional and personal settings. But the CONCEPT of light makeup is much worse than heavy makeup. One is obviously painted on green glitter and the other is a lot less noticeable but still sets an expectation

Having colorful clothes - specifically I’m thinking nails- is very common in poor and/or communities of color!! It was ment to be a way to express yourself!!! Getting your set of acrylics done long with glitter and stuff was just what you did <3 the clean French tip is nail is 100% coming from rich white people
