I assume you don’t have an ESA bcos if you did, you’d know that the reason why they work is **because** you take care of them. Loving your pet and taking care of them is the only thing that gets you out of bed. Abusing/neglecting an animal violates ESA guidelines and would actively worsen a patient’s mental health. Any good psychiatrist would redact the prescription.
And with a smell of ROT for any common household animal is a sign of something really wrong. If it smells like fecal matter and urine all the time (instead of when cleaning a litter box or pad for a younger/disabled animal), that’s an issue and a risk. Not just for shared living spaces but for the health of the animal AND those living in that space.
learn to put 2 and 2 together, that’s embarrassing if you’re in college and your reading comprehension is that low. even if the issue was just that the roommate wasn’t cleaning her dog, that’s still neglect. that girl’s mental illness or emotional support needs are NOT above the wellbeing of the dog under any circumstance, and it’s so self centered and entitled to think otherwise. literally hate ppl that are all “me me me”, especially when its at others’ expense
girl then it’s giving you commented without even reading the post. cause like the context is that the dog stinks and then you told op to move out if they had a problem. all i did was point out that you must not be putting things together since it’s literally neglect, either that or you have a self centered mindset
