Why is this getting downvoted? Literally the entire intent of bending your knees during an RDL is to take away the leverage from the hamstrings and turn it into a glute movement. Keeping the knee straight and doing an SLDL is far better for the hamstrings
RDLs ARE NOT A HAMSTRING EXERCISE. Yes, hamstrings will be involved somewhat, but it is primarily a glute exercise and you should not be treating it like a hamstring exercise. It’s like calling bench press a good tricep exercise.

I see it all the time too, where people I know tell me that their favorite hamstring exercise is RDLs. I don’t want to be the “well actually 🤓☝️” guy every time, but holy shit, an RDL is literally a modified version of a hamstring exercise specifically meant to take the work away from the hamstrings.
