i get that some people are able to separate politics from the person but personally i can’t. especially with how everything is today, i can’t be friends with someone who supports someone who’s whole campaign is about hurting marginalized communities

disagreeing on certain policies like taxing and government spending(to an extent) is one thing , but I refuse to call someone who ignorantly supports a pedophile a friend. I do not owe my kindness or sympathy to those who willingly turn their heads to the suffering of others
