If put to death he will be on death row for a long time. It’s common practice to serve a prison sentence (the length of which to be determined by the judge) as well. It’s also common practice for a priest to visit prior to the execution.

personally i notice what a privilege it is to live in the US and the left seems to do the opposite so i think the morals of the left have turned me away more than anything. i feel like they want to prioritize the wellbeing of other countries above ours but i could’ve misunderstood that. maybe i’ve just only been exposed to it from the left but they also seem to misconstrue info a lot more and i feel that fuels a very toxic environment of only seeing the worst in people especially when it’s fake

the right does this too and more often from what I’ve seen, but that’s just an availability heuristic. there’s both dems and republicans who do it, it’s not a party thing. and imo the left does focus on our country and what to fix here, and to me the right is waging a culture war just to garner more votes by targeting minorities.
