Tell me you know nothing about Hawaii without saying it. Chinese, Japanese & Filipino families didn’t ‘colonize’ sh*t. They were shipped in to work white-owned plantations, then fought for labor rights with Native Hawaiians.
Their grandkids are now teachers, nurses, and activists. Asian communities have become an inseparable part of Hawaii’s social, economic, and cultural fabric. Telling them to leave is not only unrealistic, but historically illiterate

theyre almost certainly talking about white people who are moving there because they think it’s pretty not people whose families have been there for generations and are important members of the community

Sometimes I can't believe the things mainlanders say about us sometimes... many people don’t even know that Hawai'i was it’s own country less than a century ago. Or know that the US admitted they illegally made Hawai'i a state. Some folks don’t know anything about their own country
