How do you reconcile being Catholic with the papacy’s stance on queerness? (I ask as a Irish American who feels tied to Catholicism in a heritage way)

The Bible says to love thy neighbor in spite of what separates you from them. If the papacy and other Catholics don’t recognize that, it’s not my problem.

Oh true, do you practice separately from a church?? I’m very drawn in by the ritual of a mass, especially a Latin Mass, but am afraid of the church community as many are unaccepting

Nah, my church is just chill. My deacon even wrote my college recommendation letter, I owe him a lot.
