Ok true but personally as a trans man ive literally been called a lesbian by other straight AND queer people who can’t accept that im trans. What someone labels themselves idc but it’s just triggering to me individually
contradicting labels are so valid. i love fagdykes. i love lesboys. i love bilesbians. i’m personally a genderqueer gaylesbian trans guy woooo let’s go. maybe ask genuinely instead of scapegoating and strawmanning

Like I dont want to be seen as someone capable of loving women and being a lesbian. Im a guy. If im dating a girl.. thats a straight relationship to me. Acknowledge that some ppl uncomfy w contradicting labels arent being ignoring it’s just gender conforming to them maybe

That sucks but also they’re talking about people labeling themselves, like no shit you shouldn’t call someone a name they don’t like

hey i’m op of the last post! that’s fine! that’s not what i was saying whatsoever. i get frustrated when people put their uncomfortabilities onto those of us who do use contradicting labels and do feel comfortable with that. just because we use it doesn’t mean it should be forced onto you, and just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean we should be harassed. i’m sorry that people do that to you! people shouldn’t be assuming that!

people should work on being able to acknowledge that others using contradicting labels doesn’t mean anything about them as an individual. i understand it makes you uncomfortable, and the fact that that reflects back onto us isn’t okay. i hope this makes sense. i don’t want to invalidate your experiences
