genuine question, how can you be ace(specifically asexual) if you have/and or enjoy sex? doesn’t that label mean specifically that you don’t enjoy or have sex?

I have been raped by an asexual person. Some asexual ppl still have sex and they can still be rapist(I have seen ppl claim that asexual ppl are the only sexuality incapable of rape)

Asexual means you don’t experience sexual attraction to any gender. It doesn’t say anything about libido or attitude towards sex. Sex still physiologically feels the same way. ppl have free will, they can do what they want. Do you enjoy sex? Is there a gender you’re not attracted to? Imagine you felt that way about everybody. Is the experience of sex something you like enough you’d do it anyway? Whatever ur answer is, if u reflect on that you may start to understand the variety of ace experience

the same way you don’t have to crave a specific food in order to eat it. aces don’t experience sexual attraction but may partake in sex for other valid reasons
