this post isn’t it but we do need to address how a lot of the queer community idolizes femininity. femininity is seen as a pure and innocent while masculinity is often considered undesirable, inherently dangerous, and sometimes even an act of betrayal
Anybody else noticed certain circles of trans women re-inventing radical feminism and in the same breath saying that radical feminism is incongruent with transness. Specifically trans women who are hostile to trans men. Is that just me.
while ofc for a lot of people the rejection of masculinity can be a trauma response, we need to understand that masculinity does not equal just cis men and their actions

The act of betrayal thing is so real 😭 people get so mad when bisexual girls are in fact bisexual and not just secretly lesbians

It’s just reperpetuating patriarchal ideas of masculinity and femininity :/ queer ppl have the best shot at redefining both masculinity & femininity outside of the patriarchy but we ain't gonna be able to do if it we hold onto the old stereotypes

Even if it’s a trauma response, there’s also a difference between avoiding super masculine people due to trauma and just belittling/harassing masc people because you feel like it
