Ok so I did some reading and looking back on queer history Back then trans men were still not seen as men and just butches, queer history back then was transphobic So in my eyes, I can see where you are trying to come from but it is invalid to both
Tik tok lesbian fights are on the rise again. I personally don’t agree / maybe don’t get it? If you want to be a man I don’t see how identifying as a lesbian helps with it as its non-men?? Idk And I do understand trans masc and trans men are different -

If it is what the person chooses I don’t think it is our place to have an opinion on it especially if we aren’t a lesbian or aren’t a trans man

i think people need to understand that for a lot of trans people (including myself) no relationship we have with someone is gonna be “straight”. all of my relationships no matter who they are with will be queer in some sense. for trans guys attracted to women or even just attraction that does not include cis men is often adjacent to the history of their sexuality either as a lesbian or queer woman. it is in the end just someone’s own personal connection to the label of lesbian.

I am a lesbian, and I think (and its fully a personal thing) feels like it’s not a space for non men anymore. It’s already hard to have no men spaces, and having a sexuality that is no men, but men try to come in makes me feel uncomfortable? At the same time though I don’t think I will ever meet a trans man who says they are a lesbian

I personally don’t fully agree, I get where you are coming from because yes. No matter what you are in the queer community and wont ever have a “straight relationship”. But at the same time you are in a new chapter of ur queer life

I have met one, he identified for a lesbian for 10+ years before coming out as trans and for him, he says he still uses lesbian to have that connection to his past and the identity that shaped so much of his earlier life

I just think if you say those things to me personally. i wont fully understand and wont be able to validate either side fully, and I hate saying that
