Theres a difference between getting upset AT someone and at the circumstances. I get upset being misgendered because it feels like I’m failing at presenting how I want. I might talk about that.
I’ll never understand people getting upset at strangers using the wrong pronouns from them when they don’t tell them.

Yeah I’m sure it creates a sense of dysphoria to be misgendered, even if it was unintentional and you aren’t upset with the person. It would hurt to feel like you aren’t “passing.”

As a fem transmasc nonbinary person i don’t feel like i can be upset when someone calls me she/her if i haven’t told them my pronouns or gender but it still bothers me a bit.
