Let me fix this because the discussion was about BISEXUAL people having no genital preference being adverse to dating trans people. Is it transphobic for a BISEXUAL person to only like dating cis people?

I think it might be important to open this conversation up and hear real responses from the trans community. An individual doesn’t want to pursue a relationship with a transgender person. Is this transphobic? Please explain in the comments.

If you are bisexual with no genital preference what reason would you have for not dating trans ppl? Like you don’t have to be attracted to every trans person, but saying no to dating someone just bc they trans is weird

IMO cis-only is going to be prejudiced, regardless. But you can be bisexual and only have attraction towards, for example, feminine-leaning non binary people and women, no men or masculinity. So I could understand in that context someone having a specific genital preference. But if you’re not open to dating trans people even if they align with those preferences, you’re denying them of their gender validity.
