Genuinely how is this discourse ok
i’m not saying it’s worse i’m just curious as to what people think is objectively worse to say
#poll

the c slur
they are both equally bad

The votes on this poll prove why Cierra will get a ‘pass’ (lack of better word) and Yulissa won’t. It was an entire thing of people saying the slur wasn’t that deep and will still be able to be in certain love islanders circles after people officially stop caring, which they sadly will. This entire forum actually shows nobody gaf about the slur and only cared to get Cierra out so their little couple could happen.

Ok? This discourse is still weird. Seems like we’re trying to give Cierra a pass or something.

that’s literally not true lmafo the majority of people said they were unequal!!! 😭 that literally doesn’t mean that people aren’t taking the slur seriously it’s just that in a vacuum outside of these specific circumstances the n word has a lot more weight and history behind it acknowledging that DOES NOT MEAN you are saying “it’s ok to say other slurs” like do you hear yourself genuinely?

how does this show “nobody” cares when the majority of ppl voted that they were equal

like you are equating things that simply aren’t equal and getting mad at people who are on the actual same side as you and frankly getting more mad at those ppl then the ppl who actually said the slur in the first place!!! saying the n word is worse does not mean that the c slur is suddenly fine to say and the fact that you are making those two things equal is SO WEIRD

These statements you’re making are so insane and it’s sad you don’t see it. Continue living your life invalidating racism towards Asian people especially post covid, I’m not arguing with a racist — period.

i’m not racist saying black people have had it worse then anyone else in america is not racist i don’t know why you cannot seem to grasp that multiple things can be true at the same time your experience of racism is not “less racist” or “less bad” just bc other ppl have it worse it’s like mental health, you are still depressed that doesn’t change just bc other ppl have it worse and yes covid absolutely exacerbated anti asian sentiment in america im all too aware of that as i have been fighting
