Was anyone else not aware that almost everyone places a worth on other people and judged their values based on things like how they dress, where they go, how they seem?

I hate this so much bc performing feels inauthentic and people never seem to understand when I’m being earnest with them. So I keep my mouth shut and wait for people to ask or bring it up themselves, but they rarely do. And then everyone acts rly surprised when I care or know about anything in even moderate depth 😭
