I guess I didn’t really read it like that. I imaged more of like a social scenario where someone is reassuring me that people enjoy me being there/that I’m not being annoying. But then again that’s maybe just me projecting my specific issues

Well, I suppose I did leave it up to interpretation. But it is what you’d like to hear more often, so your perspective is equally valid! The reassurance is very nice sometimes :)
