this bitch texted me that my cat ate her $15 sandwich expecting me to pay her back. you’ve lived with this cat for SIX MONTHS you KNOW he will eat ur food. he eats ur food every day and u never learn. my cat gets sick from eating shit u leave out.

GUYS PLEASE. i’ve tried everything to train my cat, even asked the vet about it. he’s a stray and has severe food insecurity. it takes 2 seconds to put ur food in a cabinet, and why are we leaving half eaten food out anyway that’s gross?

My old roommates were incredibly irresponsible and blamed me for THEIR cats eating THEIR food 💀 That post reminded me of it lol I hate living with students who don't realize animals have consciousnesses

Your cat is eating literally everything in sight and you won’t tell your roommate to train their cat not to scratch up furniture and shit, it sounds like you live in a hellscape😭

We’ve both tried to train our cats. rewarding for good behavior, redirecting when they misbehave, using treats, toys, etc as incentive, put MONTHS of time into training, nothing has worked. we agreed to continue our training, and also to start take precautions to make sure our home and our cats stay safe. we have scratch pads on our couches wherever possible, we keep all food in cabinets, don’t leave glasses unattended on counters, and make sure the house is clean and tidy. if that makes us
