also, to the transfems growing out your hair: YOU NEED REGULAR TRIMS IT KEEPS YOUR HAIR HEALTHY AND INTO GROW FASTER Your don't have to go to a salon, you can do it yourself or have a friend do it, but get a trim every 6 months

Key issue here is “barber” just go to a beauty salon instead! The stylist are usually women or gay guys so more accepting atmosphere. The curly hair part is another struggle entirely tho (bcs same 😭)

my hair is in the annoying in between of not quite wavy but not straight either and different parts of my hair are different textures and it's strange

I’ve heard that’s actually common with hair that has like any amount of texture😭(Especially wavy hair)
