Not really trans related but I live with my family and aunt; my aunt suddenly decided she’s gonna double the rent to 3k. I’m unemployed and my mom is a teacher. What r some low experience, flexible jobs that r easy to get 😭.

No lease, “low” rent at a “family discount”. My aunt said if we didn’t pay 3k, she’d charge a different tenant 5k 🙄

Gotcha, that’s a shitty situation to be in, I'm sorry. (I recognize the law may not be very helpful here; that being said, there is still a requirement of 60 days notice in writing of rent increases above 10%, even in an informal scenario like that. At best it may buy y'all more time to look for a new place)
