Christ y’all are starting to sound like republicans “we should only consider the majority” the way you talk about the minority makes it seem like you don’t like them. Not every trans person is the same or has the same dysphoria, everyone deserves love
Genuinely boggles my mind how trans women are the only people who are never considered in the ways we are depicted or discussed. The fact that SOME trans people are gender nonconforming doesn’t change the fact that the vast majority of trans women aren’t.

Fr, I understand what they’re saying, if every single art has them with a beard it would be nice to diversify the art actually. Imagine if every ftm art had them fem with no facial hair. But they’re saying their point in a way that makes them seem conservative about gender nonconforming people.

BIGGEST lie and myth I’ve ever discussed, IM a trans man who’s never really had any sort of dysphoria

Because I enjoy seeing myself as a man more than a woman, I think I look way better as male and I wanted a lower voice for vocals in my music, I felt that way since I was like 7 but I was never really uncomfortable or disliked my body as a woman. I love my body and I love every change I’ve gone through to get to where I am now. It takes time to grow into yourself but I didnt feel discomfort even when I knew I wanted to change

LITERALLY THIS. (I do have a rather diverse line of art of all sorts of trans women, trans men, and non binary people, art of trans women with beards was just a somewhat recent addition) But yea their point makes it sound like minorities of trans people shouldnt be depicted in anything and only the majority with hair dysphoria should only be represented :(

If you are a trans man, why are you discussing how trans women should and should not be depicted? That’s not really your place to comment on

I agree, but I believe the deleted comment was talking about non-dysphoric trans people as a whole

yes, it was some transmedicalist stuff about how trans people aren’t trans if they don’t experience dysphoria nor want bottom surgery
