I’ve put in about 80 applications so far and have had 1 call back. 😐 I also have a logistics company recruiter messaging me every 3 weeks for a sales job that most definitely will suck ass.

Tailor your resume to each application and literally make yourself put out 10-15 apps EVERY day. Might require opening yourself up to other admin jobs…marketing, HR, ops, whatever. Just something to get your foot in the door and to start making adult money. Also don’t expect to get responses from 95% of places you apply

Interesting, I’ve heard that has a good amount of jobs available. Could be something wrong with your resume. Try reworking it to highlight experiences more similar to the jobs you’re looking for instead of the experiences you spent the most time doing. Common issue I’ve seen on resumes.

Just remember it’s some random HR lady that spends under 30 seconds reading it so optimize it for that situation.

It’s demoralizing in a way because of the AI shit. This is just for every job though. You essentially have to use it to help write your resume…but companies are using it to filter resumes.

AI resume readers search for keywords in your resume that are found in the job descriptions qualifications/core competencies. If you want you want to be noticed by them and flagged in the “yes”category you need to tailor your resume to that specific job and make sure to use keywords from the description

Yeah that’s just the way it is. Find some keywords in the job description and drop them in your resume
