Anyone who thinks regulations are bad is fucking stupid. Imagine if every electronic had a different cable or if every mattress company made slight different sizes. It’d be batshit stupid. Regulations force companies to not be batshit stupid

Erm, actually, local businesses would pay less than any corporation can, and those corporations give us lower prices compared to local businesses! …. Because the corporations screw over consumers and local businesses by being cheap in the short term, and driving away competition so they can actually screw us over in the long term

"cheap in the short term"? It's not as though big businesses will increase prices once the small ones leave (if they do at all). Costco, Aldi, and Trader Joe's, in particular, have essentially the same prices nationwide.
