In Ukraine, where else? The Russian invasion is universally acknowledged as the single greatest military failure of the 21st century. The mythical belief in Russian military power has completely evaporated, the Russians have been utterly embarrassed on the battlefield in every conceivable way, by a smaller weaker nation fighting with a mere fraction of the NATO arsenal

I mean Russia is still occupying 20% of Ukraine. Ukraines economy is basically shut down, the whole country is in fight mode whereas Russia is operating *relatively* normally. Sure the initial military invasion was a failure but it’s just a matter of time?

It’s been a “matter of time” for more than three years now. The “2nd most powerful military in the world has suffered a million casualties in a war that was supposed to take a few weeks, if not days, and they still have barely come closer to their objective. Ukraine has retaken more than half the land Russia initially occupied, and even then, the land occupied by Russia was already controlled by pro-Russian separatist forces before the invasion. Once again,Russia has been humiliated in every way

Ukraine actually managed a rebound in GDP growth against all odds, and they’ve even managed to successfully seize Russian territory and conduct insanely successful attacks deep within Russia. There is a universal consensus amongst those in the field that the Russians have failed.
