Further notes: in addition to standard gas grenades, cops use tear gas filled paintballs. Standard strategies of kick it back or douse with water obviously useless. Bring heavy duty respirator masks and goggles. Cloth and sunglasses will not be enough.

Milk can be good, but saline solution is a better alternative to cleaning out the eyes!

Saline for sure. Lots of protestors were carrying squirt bottles of it. Will be on my list for next time

Also bring a change of contact lenses and take the current ones out ASAP if you get sprayed
