Hot take lynching is bad ik this will make waves with republicans
If you're grieving the two lynched more than the 210 murdered by their own brethren you fell for their propaganda

Hot take black people shooting each other is also bad and takes up a lot more of the murders that have black people as a victim. Libs will call me racist for this one

Yes black males aged 15-24 should not be allowed to own firearms.

Well white straight men commit most of the mass shootings and political violence should they have that right taken as well

Yeah I think white men should be banned from having guns at political rallies and places that have a lot of people packed together

Could you expand that to all white males ages 15-24?

No because as stated before they are only disproportionately responsible for mass shootings and political violence which justifies bans in places with lots of people and politically connected events, black males aged 15-24 should be banned completely because of their disproportionate murder rate overall which justifies it in any scenario.

Well I’m pretty sure you’re not allowed to bring guns into most k-12 schools in the first place, many colleges, and other packed places like stadiums and skyscrapers, so a rule or law preventing it is kinda benign. It’s like saying that 9/11 could’ve been prevented if there was a law preventing hijackings

Thank you for finally arriving at the point

That’s not the point. The point is that banning them from certain places does nothing. After 9/11, airport security was way higher and cockpits weren’t left unlocked. The action taken after that day made it much more difficult to repeat it. With guns, we’ve done almost nothing since Columbine to prevent mass shootings. Banning weapons with ability to inflict mass casualties and limiting magazine capacity is the way to go

Or maybe increasing security like we did after 9/11?

I don't mean security theatre either, I mean Air Marshal level protection for kids in schools.

Kids shouldn’t be afraid to go out at recess. School shouldn’t feel like a prison.

I agree, people should never go to schools and shoot them up in the first place, but they do, so the question should be "how do we ensure that doesn't happen?", not "how do we ensure that doesn't happen while also adding in making kids think school isn't like prison?". Idk about you but I heard that phrase plenty in K-12 before school shootings were as frequent as today

My reasoning behind it wasn't the design of the school or the security of it either, it was the fact that I was legally required to be there
