I don’t understand why, as Americans, we have to respect the cultures of the countries we travel to, but the immigrants from said countries bring their cultures here and expect us to start following them.

that goes both ways. I think tourists who come to the states are often inconsiderate and annoying. And i think American expats abroad shouldn’t be discriminated against or forced to totally assimilate
